Uber Eats - across the world
I tried to go to the supermarket, but waited until 6 p.m. (my sick day was today). I couldn’t get an Uber to take me there and I worried that even if I did, perhaps I wouldn’t be able to get back and would be somewhere across Guatemala in the dark - probably. So instead, and since I then could not get dinner, I did Uber Eats, all in Spanish. I chose a pupuseria, and attempted to get a few pupusas, a few drinks and what I thought was a salad, but was actually some kind of juice with chopped fruits in it. The pupusa were the best I have ever had in my life and were served with the carrots and jalepenos and curdito. The Uber was delivered by a guy on a motorcycle and we were able to communicate a little even with a language barrier. I was pretty impressed with myself. I decided whatever came was going to be a tremendous surprise.
