Expats

Before I left America, I wondered what made you an expat. When were you an expat, when you left the soil of your homeland? Yes. When you leave the soil of your homeland and live in another land, you are now an expat, known the world over. Well, finally I have been getting in activities and meeting other expats and what a wealth of friendships and fun! I have been invited by a local expat bar to go to a cocktail academy at the Happy Monk in Guangzhou, so fun, I have done several Internation’s events and recently I did the Santa Con in Guangzhou. So fun. I loved Santa Con. I opted to do that instead of my company Christmas party. I loved just being free to dance and sing and just be happy like no one is watching and not worrying about who is going to see you or be offended or tattle tail on you. And I would have done it again in a heartbeat. Here’s another one. I now have quite a few expat friends and really relish the friendships. I am happy to have them.
