Day 2 in San Francisco

Saturday I slept in for a bit, and then tried to do my bus tour of the city.

I had breakfast again at Mason Cafe. This day I had blueberry crepes with fruit and coffee. I did have a Bloody Mary but it left much to be desired. The crepes were amazing and the fruit was phenomenal. All but the watermelon which was exceptionally not sweet or flavorful. Just choose the best stuff for the fruit cup right? The presentation was lovely.

I headed to the Big Bus tour site. Lessons learned — don’t just rely on having your tickets via email, make sure you have a printed or accessible copy. I had it on my phone. I tried to call customer service for my Thank You points, I spent about 30+ minutes in the queue. then I went back to the hotel, got the code for my tickets and returned. So I took the entire drive, and decided where I wanted to stop the next day, since I had the 2 day pass. I did not do the catamaran cruise, because already it was misty and cold, and I only had my sweathshirt for warmth. I did eat at Cioppino’s fancy for dinner and ordered the $48 cioppino soup — worth it with scallops and mussels and fish and many delicious things, Meiomi wine (truly the best!), a Caesar salad which was so delicious, and grappa with tiramisu for dessert. It was phenomenal.
