Day 3 in San Francisco

This day I slept in, and lazed about for a bit. Then I caught the Uber down to the Big Bus and started my day in North Beach, Little Italy. I stopped for a Nutella latte, an amazing cherry chocolate chip biscotti, an Italian flag marzipan cookie and a delicous cannoli. I sat in the sunshine and ate my delicous treats, and dipped my biscotti in my coffee. It was so good. Then I walked down the street, and checked out the different shops. I went to Washington Square park and listened to a Chinese 2 string violinist play in the park while I sat on a bench in the breeze. It was perfect. Then I walked through the park where they were having an art show. Then I walked to the restaurant, Stinking Rose, which was all about garlic, even the ice cream. I had the least garlic thing, which was the bruschetta with a soft cheese, arugula and some pesto. It was marvelous. I had it with a glass of wine, but wished I had gotten the Meiomi like the night before. After that I hopped back on the bus and went to the Haight-Ashbury district, and walked around for a bit. I stopped at one tavern that advertised punch. I sat and had the Victorian punch, which was served out of a big punch bowl. I enjoyed, it but wasn’t sure it had any alcohol for it’s steep price of $8. After that I got back on the bus, went over the Golden Gate Bridge, and then headed back to the hotel. I had chili for dinner, which may not have been my best choice as spicy as it was, but it worked out fine. I had to wake up at 3 a.m. for my flight home.
