Last breakfast in Santiago

I had my last local breakfast in Santiago and it was amazing and headed to the airport to fly out. I got my second stamp in my passport. But we were delayed for 1.5 hours (the only notification was on the United app) for mechanical delays that turned out to be that we needed a new tire. Since I had a 2-hour layover in Newark, New Jersey, I was worried, but decided to roll with it. In New Jersey, because I was an international flight, I had to get my luggage and then re-check it in. So of course, I missed my flight to Seattle. Well turns out, because it was a Sunday, it was the LAST flight to Seattle at every airline at the airport for the entire day! So United put me in a hotel overnight and gave me meal vouchers (just $15 each but still great). I decided to view it as a tremendous adventure. I chose the best hotel, and it was quite lovely. No pool though (sad). I did have to wake up at 3 a.m. to get back to the airport at 4 to fly out at 6. It all worked out well and was great. When I got home I settled back in and went to sleep. Lucky thing I had already taken that Monday off since I arrived at 11 a.m.
