I took a walk

One day I took a walk. From Somerset, where I “lived” to the roundabout in downtown Negril. From there I caught the beach taxi to 7 mile beach. Google Maps said it was 1.5 miles — all the locals say it was way farther than that. I got to see so many neat things that I didn’t see, speeding by in the taxi. At one spot the water was so amazing. Royal blue and turquoise and I couldn’t even believe my eyes. I saw many colorful buildings, some were like castles. Some Jamaican guys decided to walk along with me for parts of my journey. About 56 taxi drivers tried to give me a ride. My long walk did give me an epic blister, but it was still worth it. I saw a school, my dude at the time told me to take a picture of both of the murals, for the “Educated Jamaican.” I stopped and took pictures of all the beaches. I said hello to everyone I saw.
