I live in Panyu, in China

In the past 3 weeks there has been so much. I need to catch up on blogging. But finally I am here, able to.

First off, I have a Chromebook. I was advised to get one, but it was a bad choice for China. Essentially I couldn’t log in AT ALL because Google is blocked in China. Long sotry. So I had to buy a new laptop, and here I am. I haven’t been able to watch TV since I arrived, since, my TV is all in Chinese, and I can’t get on to watch YouTube or Netflix or anything. I have finally configured the 3 letter secret word. But still tinkering with all of my devices.

China has been amazing. I think the people have been friendly and watch out for me. I have made new friends, both with the international teachers, and I made one friend in the community! The food has been out of this world and more to come! The noodles in China are phenomenal. I have been eating out and cooking in.

I like my school and school lunch but I will do a different post on that. I have been on adventures all around, but I will post later on that too. We were supposed to start school Friday, but we had an impending typhoon, so we are delayed until Monday.

I have a box brewing for my cub, Liel, and for my next door neighbor, bestie, Jenn, but I have no idea how to mail a package, nor did I know in any of the countries I have visited, so it will have to wait until I figure it out.

I love my apartment. It is cozy and fancy. I say hello every day to my door guard person. I am hoping to improve my Chinese to practice on her. I have many Chinese to correct me at my school and everywhere.

More to come.
