Eco Suites

In Guatemala City I stayed at Eco Suites, which I really enjoyed. To enter there is a little kitchen with dishes, cutlery, knives and a sink and full fridge. Then a table, and seating area, both a small futon and a built in seating spot. There were built ins for the windows. There was a small bathroom, and toilet and then the sink was separate. Then there was a small balcony in view of the greenbelt with many birds often chirping. There was a full size bed and also a twin bed in the bedroom. There were a few varieties of paint colors to add the cultural decor such as a sea foam, a light creamy white and a sunshine yellow with rust color trim. Downstairs under the parking area was the breakfast spot where the kitchen ladies would make local breakfast every morning. There were many options, my favorites were egg with tomato sauce, plantains, salty cheese slice, super dark refried beans and a bread roll. Another day I got 3 bread rolls, with egg and refried beans. Always you could have coffee or “orange juice" and you got a cookie too. Another day I got waffles with fresh fruit. Another day I had eggs with maybe cheese, what appeared to be plantains, sliced, still in their skin, maybe pan steamed in orange juice with cinnamon, black beans, a bun and tangy cream fraiche. I really enjoyed my stay and would definately reccomend it. Here is a link to the site.
