Dominican Quipes

This evening I went over to have s’mores and sit around the campfire with my next door neighbors. While there, Junior, who just finished first grade, went through the countries A-Z to ask me which I wanted to visit in the world. I mentioned that as a teacher, this was perfect, because first of all, we were going through the alphabet, and second, if he tried to pronounce a country, and I didn’t understand, he had to spell it, which is another great thing. So, subsequently, I told him that I would send him a recipe from every country I visited in the world. And I even pinkie swore. So I told him I would start a new section of my blog, and also mail him a recipe from every country I visit. He wants LOTS of recipes from Jamaica. So here is my first recipe for Junior.
