Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico is a unincorporated territory of the United States. It is an archipelago of islands on the Caribbean Sea. It extends 111 miles from east to west and 39 miles north to south in length and it takes a couple of days to get around it. The largest city in Puerto Rico is San Juan, there is also Aguadilla and Ponce. The flag of Puerto Rico looks like this. The language spoken in Puerto Rico is Spanish. Puerto Ricans are the second largest population of Hispanics living in the United States. The indigenous population of Puerto Ricans is the Tanio people. The monetary denomination they use in Puerto Rico is the U.S. dollar. Education in Puerto Rico is similar to the U.S. Food in Puerto Rico they have influence from the Tanio people who brought more of barbecue, African influence that brought coconuts and plantains and they use a sofrito and many root vegetables.
