Trip back to San Francisco

I spent four days in San Francisco working to get my Chinese visa and I finally got it! The first day I hung out with my friend Jim, who I met through the Frontier Airlines Go Wild Pass Facebook group. We were both in Guatemala at the same time and ran into each other in the TSA line. I chose to have my hotel in the North Beach neighborhood of San Francisco. I chose the Europa Hotel at $60 but should have spent more because it was really sub par and super sketchy. First Jim picked me up and we went to get Italian sandwiches at Molinari’s, which was a wonderful Italian deli with meats and cheeses hanging from the ceiling. He ordered the Italian sandwich and I had that too. We went to the 16th Avenue Tiled Stairs. After that we saw the Lucas Films lobby with Yoda. And then went down Lombard Street. After that he dropped me at the Cable Car Museum. San Francisco was having their 150th anniversary of the San Francisco cable car. I walked through and then rode the cable car down to Fisherman’s Wharf. I had dinner there and then afterwards it was so cold and windy! I got a sweatshirt at Fisherman’s Square because it was so cold.
