Search Associates Job Fair

In February I went to the Search Associates job fair in San Francisco. Before I went, the school I will be working with had already told me they would make me a job offer, but nothing was official, and my trip was already set. And why not make future connections. So I went. I stayed at the Marriot Airport and it had a lovely view of the airport and the estuary of the San Francisco area. It was misty, and foggy and one day there was sun. I had these great big windows, that were very nice. I interviewed at schools around the world — I had 11 interviews. I had 5 one day, and 6 the next. It was exhausting but also amazing and flattering and humbling. I interviewed in Singapore, and Saudi Arabia and South Korea and the Congo and Mexico and China and Quatar all over the world. I had a third interview in Benin, Africa, while at the fair, but I did not accept that job. It was a great experience, I highly recommend it. Search Associates. I did bring Douglas along.
