Nicaragua Day Trip

I took a lovely day-long tour to Nicaragua with Viator tours. Nicaragua was really wonderful. It was a central American country. We went to the chocolate factory, and a boat tour to see the islands of Grenada and Monkey island with three monkeys. We had traditional Nicaraguan breakfast, which was rice and peas, plantain, a tortilla, eggs and Nicaraguan salsa. It was delicious, with coffee. There were about 12 people on the tour and two teachers, one was British, and then other tourists. We went to the Grenada city and walked around the square. I loved the yellow iconic church. We had lunch, mine was steak and chimchurri and a wonderful dragon fruit and ginger drink. Then we went to the volcano. After that we went to Catarina Nicaragua and did a little shopping. It was a wonderful day and fun to get in Nicaragua along with Costa Rica.
