Finally friends in China

Finally I have begun making some friends in China. I have met people from China around the city and at school, but I haven’t felt I was close to anyone for awhile. Finally I have made a few friends, which is delightful. The only way I can justify this is that finally I put myself out there. Finally I just took a chance and thought — why not. So I had a taco party and invited some of my colleagues and people I liked. It was a rousing success. Soon I will have Thanksgiving. I saw I could get most all of the things for Thanksgiving, they are expensive and I have no idea what will happen, but it should be fun no matter. I like to invite too many people and see what happens. So I invited my Chinese teacher, and some of my friends and more friends and it should be amazing. I also am in a few expat groups, so I posted on there that I was new to Guangzhou and Panyu District and I wanted to make some friends — I have made two friends this way so far and one lives in the building across from me.
